At Futureform, we believe that sustainability is about more than just reducing our carbon footprint. It’s about creating a brighter future for everyone by taking care of our planet, our people, and our communities. In this blog post, we’ll explore some of the initiatives we’ve implemented to live up to our sustainability principles and make a positive impact as this Global issue is not going away.
Volunteer Days
As part of our commitment to sustainability, Futureform offers each employee two volunteer days per year to support causes that are close to their hearts. From beach cleanups to community gardening projects, our team is passionate about making a difference. In 2021, we volunteered over 500 hours to organisations like the National Trust Service, local food banks, and animal shelters.
Matching Charitable Donations
Futureform is proud to match employee donations to charitable organisations. Last year, our team donated over tens of thousands of pounds to support causes ranging from climate change research to children’s hospices and education initiatives. By matching these donations, we’re able to double the impact of our employees’ generosity.
Remote-First Work Environment
As a remote-first company, Futureform is reducing our environmental footprint by eliminating the need for daily commutes. In addition to reducing carbon emissions, remote work helps our employees maintain a healthy work-life balance and promotes mental well-being.
“We decided when we founded Futureform that employees would have the option to work from home so that they can have a more balanced work / life environment. This has enabled Futureform to hire brilliantly talented people up and down the country as an office is not a limiting factor to growth. Our remote first operation is also significantly better for the environment and when we meet for team events, we encourage our employees to take public transport or cycle where possible”

Promoting Physical Activity
We know that physical activity is essential for mental and physical health, which is why we encourage our employees to prioritise fitness. Our wellness program includes virtual yoga classes, team fitness challenges, and incentives for reaching health goals. We utilise the Vitality Health App to track our health and offer promotions based upon our activity.
One upcoming initiative is our 4 x 4 x 48 event, whereby a number of the team will be running 4 miles, every 4 hours for 48 hours! This is all in aid of the brilliant ‘Mind’ charity.
Net Zero by 2030
Our commitment is that by 2026, 100% of our operation is net zero according to the Net Zero framework. This will take a collective effort from the team and one that everyone internally is aligned to, and passionate about. Limiting business travel, eliminating plastics, educating the teams on the severity of this global crisis, providing each team member with reusable water bottles, eliminating paper from our operations and thoroughly evaluating third-party suppliers before any purchases are made are some of our commitments to make this achievable.
“This is a Global crisis and every employee and company needs to do what they can to make the world more sustainable. Our commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2030 is a critical step in building a sustainable future for generations to come. We believe that by working together with our employees, customers, and partners, we can drive meaningful change and create a lasting positive impact on our planet“

Salesforce 1% Pledge
Futureform is extremely proud to be part of the Salesforce 1% Pledge, which commits us to donating 1% of our time, earnings, and technology to social and environmental causes. Through this initiative, we’re able to support organisations like the World Wildlife Fund, Ocean Conservancy, and local non-profits in our community.
At Futureform, sustainability is more than just a buzzword—it’s a core part of who we are. By implementing these initiatives, we’re taking steps to build a brighter future for our planet and its people. Join us on our sustainability journey and discover how you can make a difference too!
